Can you remember the last time you used Google as a search engine? I have to dig deep for that one. Over the past few months, AI has become my daily sparring partner. It works as a second brain that helps me structure my thoughts, sharpen my thinking and learn faster. And what surprised me most: that same efficiency creates room for what actually matters in my work, namely personal contact and relationship management.
My new way of working already feels so natural that I can't really imagine going back. I took my inspiration from the book Building a Second Brain by Tiago Forte, which describes how to build a digital system for capturing ideas, organizing them and reusing them creatively. With that idea in mind, I built my own AI second brain with the help of Claude Code. It works as my personal COO and CCO in one. My COO agent helps me structure my calendar and meetings, and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks. For a slightly chaotic person like me, that's no luxury. My CCO is my commercial sparring partner: it sharpens my ideas and helps me make them concrete. The three of us get a lot more done than I ever did on my own.
And here's the upside: it leaves more time for the most important part of my work, which is talking to clients. For private clients and businesses, a personal approach matters. Privacy, discretion and trust are the foundation. I notice I now have more time to discuss the market with clients whenever they want to. Time to walk them through a detailed update on their portfolio. Time to discuss sensitive documents in person rather than over email. Time for orders we don't process through the platform, but handle at our office under a four‑eyes principle. A lot more time, in other words. All thanks to AI.
Will AI eventually take over my work as a relationship manager? For parts of it, probably yes. But the demand for personal contact isn't going anywhere. The more daily noise gets automated, the more space opens up for real conversation and connection. That's why I see AI as a colleague rather than a threat. I'm still the one directing the work.
I see the same shift happening in our sector. Clients are doing their homework before they walk in: looking into their tax situation, the characteristics of the crypto market, the differences between providers. They arrive sharper and better prepared than before. That makes the conversation more substantive, and the relationship stronger.
So for all our clients, existing and new, the message is simple: we're here for you. More than ever. With thanks to AI.
