Digital Accessibility

Amdax considers digital accessibility to be of fundamental importance. We are committed to ensuring that our website, web app, and mobile application are accessible to all users, in accordance with the European accessibility guidelines (WCAG). By continuously evaluating and enhancing our platforms, we make the new financial world not only secure and transparent, but also accessible to everyone.

1.1 Digital Accessibility

At AMDAX B.V. (Amdax), we believe it is important that our platforms are accessible to everyone, including people with visible and invisible disabilities. This accessibility statement explains how accessible our platforms currently are and in which areas we need to make further efforts to ensure digital accessibility

This accessibility statement applies to:

  • Website: https://amdax.com
  • Webapp: Amdax website application
  • App: Amdax mobile application

Hereinafter collectively referred to as the Amdax platforms.

As of 28 June 2025, organizations falling within the scope of the European Accessibility Directive – such as financial service providers, e-commerce platforms, and digital service providers – are legally required to ensure that their digital services are accessible to consumers.

1.2 Description of Our Services

The Amdax platforms are 100% online. Our services can be accessed via the Amdax app, Amdax web app, and Amdax website. Through these platforms, you have access to, among other things, the following functionalities:

  • creating a personal profile to become a client;
  • managing crypto-assets, including buying, selling, withdrawing, and depositing crypto-assets;
  • viewing your personal portfolio;
  • accessing your account settings;
  • consulting our terms and conditions and other legal documents;
  • using the helpdesk;
  • logging off the platform.

1.3 What is Digital accessibility?

The accessibility of websites and apps is described according to four principles: operable, perceivable, understandable, and robust. The European standard for digital accessibility (EN 301 549) contains requirements for ICT applications to comply with these principles. These requirements are further elaborated in the international technical standard for digital accessibility: The WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

Operable. The website is easy to operate. Not only with a mouse, but also, for example, with a keyboard, a screen reader, and by voice control.

Perceivable. The text size, font, and contrast make the text easy to read, and the text can also be properly read by, for example, blind or visually impaired users.

Understandable. It is easy to navigate and achieve your goal, such as finding the desired information or placing an order.

Robust. The content can be reliably interpreted by different technologies such as screen readers and other assistive tools.

1.4 Accessibility Standards

The WCAG standards are divided into three levels of accessibility: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Each level represents a different degree of accessibility for users with disabilities:

  • Level A – This level represents the minimum level of conformance. At this level some barriers will still exist that impact certain groups of users.
  • Level AA – This level is the most common conformance level. The criteria at this level establish a higher level of accessibility that works for more users, including those who use assistive technology.
  • Level AAA – The highest achievable level that provides maximum accessibility, with criteria such as extended audio descriptions for videos, enhancing the experience for all users.

1.5 Accessibility status

Based on the standards, Amdax has internally assessed the extent to which its platforms comply with Level A and Level AA. Not all standards are applicable to the Amdax platforms.

The Amdax platforms fully comply with Level A. With regard to the Level AA standards, no insurmountable accessibility issues have been identified. Amdax can still make improvements, particularly in the area of subtitles under videos on the website. Amdax will take further steps to meet the standards of Level AA on all platforms.

1.6 Measures to safeguard accessibility

We continuously assess and improve our platforms. Twice a year, a review of this accessibility statement will take place, during which we will consult the standards in force at that time. We will publish an updated statement on our website.
